What you can expect from the Mitchell School of Fine Arts…
Trevor Twist’s Mitchell School of Fine Arts is a real gem. I have learned so much in the short time I have taken classes here. The feedback and direction have provided me with a new perspective to help develop and improve my skills to paint. Every painting becomes an adventure of new techniques and new directions to create work that challenges my skills and makes me begin to be an artist. I highly recommend the school.

“I like how the teachers will help me with anything I want. It doesn’t matter what your skill level is, if you have never used pastel or watercolor before, the teachers at the Mitchell School of Fine Arts will teach you how to paint, sketch, or make a pastel drawing of anything you would like to create, might it be people, animals, or even buildings. They get to know you well so that they can give you instruction based on your ability. All the supplies are there, ready for you to use. The Mitchell School of Fine Arts is a kid and adult friendly environment, and the teachers give you personal attention, to help you even more with your work. Overall anybody with even the slightest interest in art will enjoy their experience at the Mitchell School of Fine Arts.

I returned to painting after 20 years away. The Mitchell School made the transition back extremely comfortable. The atmosphere at the Mitchell School stresses the basics of composition; it develops the importance of the relationships between the shapes and makes the brain rethink how it looks at things in everyday life. It is a true artist’s studio with the resources and instruction to make everyone their most creative.
