Trevor Twist’s Mitchell School of Fine Arts is a real gem. I have learned so much in the short time I have taken classes here. The feedback and direction have provided me with a new perspective to help develop and improve my skills to paint. Every painting becomes an adventure of new techniques and new directions to create work that challenges my skills and makes me begin to be an artist.  I highly recommend the school.

I returned to painting after 20 years away. The Mitchell School made the transition back extremely comfortable. The atmosphere at the Mitchell School stresses the basics of composition; it develops the importance of the relationships between the shapes and makes the brain rethink how it looks at things in everyday life.
